Support
Ask without pasting a key.
Most questions are one of three things: a skipped upload, a rejected run, or a blocked post.
Last updated
A plain-language description of the product as it is. It is not legal advice.
First, check the machine
Run npx vfrey doctor in your project folder (outside a project, npx @vfrey/vfrey doctor). It lists what is set up and what is missing: Node, the voice, the keys, and the local database. --json gives the same as data for your agent.
npx vfrey open opens the local dashboard, which shows each run, its stage, and its video.
The video did not publish
Publishing waits for your own platform keys. Without a key the upload is skipped and the video stays on your machine. Add the key for that platform and run again.
Rejected or blocked
A quality failure is rejected. The script or video did not pass a check, and a new take may. A compliance failure is blocked, for example when a platform refuses the AI-disclosure label.
A blocked post is never sent without the label. Fix the cause at the platform, not by removing the label.
Where your files are
Everything is under ~/.vfrey on your machine: the database at pipeline.sqlite and the videos in renders/. If you set VFREY_HOME, look there instead.
Asking for help
vfrey is in private beta, so help goes through the people who invited you. Ask in the same place you were given access. This site publishes no support address, phone number, or office.
When you ask:
- describe what the run reported, and the stage it stopped at;
- include the output of npx vfrey doctor;
- never paste a platform key, a token, or your credentials key. If you did, revoke it at the platform now;
- share only the parts of your data you choose to.
What support cannot do
It cannot accept a platform's terms for you, restore an account a platform has limited, or post from a browser session. vfrey uses official APIs only. Your own legal questions are yours to take to a qualified person.
