Terms

Use accounts you own.

vfrey is a local tool in private beta. These are the plain terms for using it and this website.

Last updated

A plain-language description of the product as it is. It is not legal advice.

The tool

vfrey is a command-line tool and a skill for coding agents. It runs on your machine. It reads official sources, writes a script, renders a short video locally, and publishes it through official platform APIs when you give it your own keys.

Your accounts and keys

Platform keys belong to you. Publish only to accounts you own or are allowed to post to. Keep your keys secret and revoke any that leak. We never hold them, so we cannot recover or revoke them for you.

YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Reddit keep their own terms and API rules. You still follow them, including quotas, audit requirements, and content policies.

Your content is your responsibility

You decide what a run is about and what gets posted. You are responsible for what you publish, including:

  • checking that scripts and videos are accurate and lawful where you post them;
  • having the right to use any source material, text, or audio you feed in;
  • following each platform's rules on automated and AI-generated content.

Quality checks reduce bad output. They do not make a video correct, safe, or permitted. Read what it will post.

Disclosure

The AI-disclosure flag is always set. If a platform refuses the label, the post is blocked. It is not retried without the label. Do not work around this.

What it will not do

It uses official APIs only. It does not automate a browser, scrape, or download other creators' videos. Do not use it to evade a platform's limits, to impersonate someone, or to mislead people.

Private beta, and no warranty

The repositories are private and the packages ship on npm under the beta tag first. Features can change or stop while the beta runs. Mail is planned.

The tool and this site are provided as they are, without promises that they will be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost posts, platform actions against an account, or other losses from using them. Some places do not allow those limits, and then they apply only as far as the law lets them.

Third parties

This site is hosted on Vercel, and the tool calls the platforms and any model or voice provider you configure. Their terms govern their services. See Privacy for what goes where.

Contact

Contact: see Support. These terms name no company address or legal entity, because none is published for the private beta.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the tool after a change means you accept the new version.
